Ever since the production of his first limited edition paperback, made by Griffin Print in his hometown of Consett back in 1992, Steve has been fascinated by the bookmaking process. He loves to handmake his own journals and notebooks - stapled or hand sewn; softback, hardback with multiple signatures; limited edition deluxe publications and one-off volumes as gifts.
In recent years Steve has been approached by local writers to demonstrate his bookmaking skills and to provide bespoke journals.
